This policy explains how Precision Guardiant Technologies CC handles personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
This website has no contact form and no newsletter sign up. We do not collect personal information through the site itself.
- If you message us on WhatsApp or phone us, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your number, your address or site location, photographs of the work, and the details of your enquiry.
- Standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider. These may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. We use them only to keep the site running and secure.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, quote for work, carry out and invoice that work, and keep the records a contractor is required to keep. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for marketing.
Who we share it with
Only where it is needed to do the job or where the law requires it. That may include suppliers and subcontractors working on your site, our accountant, and regulators or authorities where we are obliged to provide information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are kept only as long as they are useful. Records relating to work carried out, including test results and compliance documents, are kept for the periods required by South African law.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to mikepgt@vodamail.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security
We take reasonable steps to keep personal information safe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
